Radius at the Wigmore Hall

Just a reminder that Radius, the new contemporary music group I blogged about earlier in the year, have their debut concert at the Wigmore Hall this Friday. Tickets start at £10 and are available online from the Wigmore Hall. Friday’s programme includes works by Andriessen, Berio, Cage and Carter, as well as pieces by ensemble members Ian Vine and Tim Benjamin. Should be good.

  1. Hi Tim,

Thanks very much! It was a really good night in the end, and we had a surprisingly (to me) large audience, who were all very enthusiastic.

Obviously we didn’t get to meet up (if you were there) but hope to meet you at some point all the same!

Anyone that missed it – we’re playing again in Oxford on Wednesday, same programme :-)

    Cheers
    Tim

  2. I was there Tim – sorry we didn’t get a chance to meet, I had to dash off afterwards.

I thought it was a good night, and a successful debut. Particularly like the Andriessen, which I didn’t know and wasn’t at all what I expected. Hearing Cage in such a genteel acoustic was also a new experience!

Hope the Oxford show goes just as well.
