This is the version I love best, better than Cambreling. Garth Knox is magical. I can listen to the first 3 sections on continuous repeat : it works on your biorhythms, somehow. In fact Grisey was interested in psycho acoustics, the way the brain processes what’s heard and what’s felt. Musique pour franchir le seuil ! This is SUCH an amazing work.

Tim, this is magnificent! Thank you so much! I don’t know where I would have found this, had you not posted it. I’m putting up a blurb on it, too.
I’ve finally found time to listen to this recording myself, and it really is excellent. Highly, highly recommended.
This is the most fascinating piece of music I’ve heard in years. Thanks so much for the pointer. Simply beautiful.
How can I get this video or recording???
“Get it at inconstant sol.”
Thanks a lot
