Loving these videos of Xenakis’s percussion masterpiece Pleiades by the Yale Percussion group. (Thanks to Jim Casella, whose Twitter feed pointed me towards finding these.)

  1. Don’t know if you caught this on Hear and Now the other day. It was brilliant performance and one of the shortest-feeling 40 minutes I’ve ever spent listening to music.

    Your blog’s very interesting – my supervisor at Uni mentioned it and I’m pleased to have found it.
