The ROH warms to its audience once more

An interesting footnote to yesterday’s post-Anna Nicole come down (is there a word for hype that happens after an event?) was the following Tweet from the Royal Opera House themselves:

A marked (and welcome) change in tune from last September when, if you remember, Covent Garden’s legal representatives were sending out cease and desist letters to bloggers who posted photographs taken within the auditorium on the grounds that they infringed the copyrights of the set designers. That particular kerfuffle was amicably resolved, and the ROH’s stance in tweets like the above reflects I think a more sensible outlook. Or maybe the world looks a little different when you’re the one seeking content donations.

Anyway, the ROH’s blogpost in question seems to be this one here, where photos are being collected, with credits to the contributors.
