  1. I would like the add the Claire Booth/Jeremy Huw Williams/Andrew Matthews-Owen/Michael Pollock concert to that list on the 6th of December. Very interesting line up with premieres of Hoddinott and Fokkens and songs by Turnage, Knussen, Matthews and Skempton. Got my ticket already!

  2. Excellent concert…different, but in a good way. Jeremy Huw Williams sang interesing music by composers whose songs we don’t hear enough of. The Crane duets were welcome relief. We need to hear more Hoddinott. This cycle (for sop, bar, pno four hands) was compelling in the colours that the four created. The pianists made a lovely sound together and clearly get on well.(they were suitably hilarious in the duets judging by the composer’s enthusiastic congratulations). Soprano Clair Booth sang only in the Hoddinott on this occasion but was as expressive and moving as always.
